The Pittsburgh Steelers are finalizing a two-year contract extension with Mitch Trubisky, according to a source.

The former No. 2 overall pick had one year left on his contract.

Trubisky was set to count $10.6 million against the cap for the 2023 season, and the extension offers cap flexibility, while also giving Trubisky security as a top-tier backup.
